Hello!
We are Salcombe Self Care. A service creating, selling and delivering sumptuous self-care hampers brimming with local, eco-friendly goodies from in and around the beautiful area of Salcombe and Kingsbridge, South Devon. We only include the best-quality items, sourced as locally and as consciously as possible. Our vision is for our customers to be able to love themselves, whilst at the same time respecting the environment and supporting the local economy.
We are blessed with wonderful surroundings in this part of Devon and have countless stunning beaches to choose from. I love to swim in the sea; it’s where I find peace from the everyday whirlwind that is my life (teacher & mum of two young children).
A throw away comment in the sea one day to one of my lovely wild-swimming chums, sowed the seed for this venture: “If I could put this in a box and sell it, I’d be a millionaire”. For sure, if I could capture the sights, the smells, and perhaps more significantly the calming, exhilarating sense of physical and mental ‘centre’ you get from the cold water, I’d be onto something! Likewise, taking time out to make space for these experiences, to just breathe and be with our spectacular natural world is a vital part of what makes a wild swim special.
A Salcombe Self Care hamper is carefully designed to leave you no choice but to take time for yourself, whilst evoking the sense of serenity and exhilaration of an ocean experience.
